What is the difference between NGV and bioNGV?

NGV (Natural Gas for Vehicles) and bioNGV in compressed form are alternative fuel solutions aimed at reducing the impact of CO₂ emissions linked to mobility (40% of French emissions today).

The liquefied form of this gas makes it possible to store more energy, imposing more demanding technical constraints. In fact, its use is mainly reserved for industrial sites.

NGV enables vehicles to be fuelled by natural gas used for domestic purposes.

BioNGV is the renewable version of NGV, because it does not use natural gas but biomethane, a biogas produced locally by recycling waste.
