BHB Hand Ensemble, sport for all

Making sport accessible and more

Since its creation, Teréga Accélérateur d’Énergies has pursued its commitment to diversity and equal opportunities by supporting the BHB association, the Hand Ensemble section of the Billère Handball club. For the endowment fund, well-being and social inclusion are essential.

The Hand Ensemble section has 15 members. It welcomes adults aged 26 to 50 with mental disabilities and runs initiatives in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, educational support and training for young sportspeople.

Through handball, the association pursues an educational project: learning to make a commitment in the service of a supportive and responsible team. The association aims to promote inclusion and create links within its area. In practical terms, through its Hand Ensemble team, it runs regular civic initiatives in conjunction with the professional sector.

The association goes even further, with initiatives to promote eco-responsibility such as waste collection days and the participation of members in the “Fresco du Climat” (climate fresco) workshop.
